Flat knife

       W1: indicates the shank diameter of the tool. Commonly used shank diameters are ∮ 3.175, ∮ 4, ∮ 6, and root.

       Set as needed.

       W2: indicates the width of the tool tip. It directly affects the engraving effect. It should be set as accurate as possible. A ruler with a high point of accuracy can be used as a rough reference.

       A: Half of the included angle between the two sides of the blade tip. If it is a 30° tool, then A is set to 15, and so on.

       Engraveable materials: Two-color board, PVC board, organic glass, ABS board, etc.

       Cutable material: Two-color board, ABS board.

       The principle of using a knife: When carving small words, use W2 or A small knife, use large knife as large as possible in order to increase the processing speed; select the tool with the narrowest stroke; if necessary, use the node without affecting the font effect. 2. Straight knife (pillar knife)


       W1: The width of the front edge of the cutter blade, the common width is 2mm, 1.5mm, slightly smaller in general setting, because the front end of the cutter blade facilitates chip evacuation and trims one side edge, so the actual width is slightly smaller.

       H1: The length of the cutting edge of the cutter, the height of the cutting material should be less than the length of the cutting edge, generally H1 is set to about 5 mm.

       Engraveable materials: Two-color board, PVC board, organic glass, ABS board, etc.

       Cutable material: Two-color board, ABS board.

       Therefore, many kinds of tools are used for large-size engraving on the department card, so it is also called the department licensing knife, but the engraving effect is slightly inferior to the flat knife with the same width. The edge of the material it cuts is a straight edge, while the edge of the material cut by a flat-bottomed knife has a hypotenuse. The degree of tilt depends on the angle of the tool. 3.Milling cutter

       W1: Width of tool front end, commonly used shank diameters are ∮ 3.175, ∮4, ∮6; if cutting material thickness is less than 10MM, when using ∮ 3.175 knife to cut the word to be deformed, sometimes also used shank diameter Change from ∮ 3.175 to a variable-handle tool with 2 or ∮1.5 tip.

       H1: The length of the blade, the thickness of the cutting material should be less than the length of the blade, generally H1 is divided into the following types according to the thickness of the material (2mm more than the cutting material, to facilitate chip removal).

      12mm: Cut 10MM and below

      17mm: Cut 15MM Material

      22mm: Cut 20MM Material (PVC Multipurpose ∮ 3.175; Acrylic ∮4)

      Engraveable materials: PVC board, plexiglass, wood board, etc.

      Cutable material: PVC board, plexiglass, wood board, etc.

      Knife principle: It is not recommended to use a 22mm tool to cut 10MM or less of material, which may result in a broken knife; when there is no 22mm tool, but also to cut 20MM material, you can use a 17mm tool temporarily, through layered cutting to achieve.

 

4. Three-dimensional shaped knife

      Because this kind of tool is different from our common tooling tools that require a single tool shank material to directly grind out the work, but in the ∮6 under the handle by a special welding process welding in a variety of shapes of the knife Head, directly used for a variety of special shape of the engraving process, it is also known as the big knife.

      W1: The diameter of the knives below the shank, which is randomly assigned to 32 mm; there are also smaller ones for cutting small three-dimensional characters.

      A: Half of the included angle between the two sides of the blade tip. For a randomly assigned tool with 90°, A is set to 45 (similar to a flat-bottomed blade)

     W2: The width of the tip, because when the specific calculation of the three-dimensional path, the path requirement is passed by one knife, it has no meaning, usually set 0.1 or 0.2.

      Tool Usage: Three-dimensional clear-angle characters (using the "3D" function to calculate the path) and the back-inclined edge of the crystal.
